An Update.....

Okay, i know Mother's Day is long gone and as a matter of fact, many of these pictures are happenings that is oh-not-so-recent, hence the title...

So I shall let the pictures do the talking once again, on my latest adventure....
First off, my bedroom...I was really bored, I mean really really bored, hence I took many pictures of my bedroom...My bedroom and it's changes, although it looks much neater now after my "after-exam-cleaning-spree".

The empty room...

First phase of personal touch, before my parcels and the money spending~

The way it looks now, very comfy...and the mess of the rooms goes according to my mood and the occassion

Like i say...comfy *ignore the mess mum*

My personal walk-in wardrobe...I would like to think I can enlarge this in 3 times, if i manage to get a decent job...Rest assure it will be filled with bags.

Here's to the occassion which I should have celebrated with my mum..So, to make it up here's the cake mum...haha!

The Boys...the actual family

The Girls...Auntie's foster daughters, hah

And then there's drama...The cast from "View From the Bridge", the only play, that I noticed (besides Dracula) that is not a comedy...But the whole ordeal was worth it, I mean I don't think I would have taken up drama in M'sia.

Ok, Phoenix and Jason is frm "The Trial Of Ivy Phng" the rest is from "View"

The latest event was going to the orchard with Aunty Jillian...To the countryside we go!

If you are wondering what are the orange...It's the Persimmons, in a abundant!

Then, while we were there we manage to visit a mini art gallery there. I could have stayed there for hours, examining piece by piece of the art..but we have to get other fruits as well plus it was getting late... But here you go:

Random-ness

Due to the fact that my mum keeps telling me to be careful while i am jogging near the river, cause she keeps telling me that if i am not careful i will fall into the river *rolls eye* have a look at the pics people and then tell me mum, how on earth will i fall into the river...unless if it's really dark or maybe if I am drunk or high on something. Of these two possibilities, none of them is even close to happening..So yea, dun worry mum, i WON'T fall into the river....But the river is nice, yes?

Oh, I also happen to do some shoping, need to prepare myself for winter, therefore I've bought....tadaa~

The trench coat...

The boots...Have to go for kids size some more, cause they don't have my size..sigh~

The raincoat...Cause it rain quite frequently during winter...had an experience of being drench in the rain during Autumn, dun want to try it again...damn cold wei!

Well, I know my dad wil faint when he sees this, but there's a sale coming up soon, i think i might go and a have a look again, see if I can find a good bargain. That is if they even have my size lah....

Bon Voyage....

How time flies, I know this is sounded so cliche, but seriously I have been here for more than a month now...How can you say that time hasn't fly. I am getting use to the lifestyle here, but so far nothing much that is interesting happen to me, except i have some pretty crazy housemates...Oh wait, i said that during my previous mail.

Went to watch QE2's last voyage, QE2 = Queen Elizabeth 2. To be honest i wasn't very hyped up about it, but Auntie Jillian is. We went all the way down to Frematle's Port to view the ship...In the evening, Aunty Jillian took us on anither trip into Fremantle so that we could view the ship set sail to it's next destination, Singapore.

The waiting session turns out to be a picnic with a few cam-whoring session, and some how i got involve. But the view is really nice, would have waited for sun set if it weren't for the breeze, cause it was getting pretty chilly and windy.

I actually quite like this one, feels like I am strolling in Paris or something.

Little did I know, I've been here in Aussie for almost 2 weeks already. Somehow, Aussie is beginning to feel a little like home, perhaps that's because I've been here once already, perhaps I have a good company here (Thanks Poh!), or it could be the fact that the people here are generally quite friendly, heck I even manage to get into friendly squables with Rick (the youngest son of my homestay auntie).

Oh, did I mentioned that the surroundings here are...How should I put this? How about a house near the river? Yea, there's a river here, the area here is quite peacefull and quiet, it's rather different from the hustle bustle of KL. Not that, I'm complaining, but I say, I rather enjoy this kind of lifestyle. This I can get use to. Mind, the river is a beautiful, not the "big longkang in Malaysia", there's actually jelly fishes and I'm quite sure living fishes in the water, not dead ones as they would be in Malaysia.

Told you there's a jelly fish, there's ducks too!

I should say, it's rather good to have a friend along this journey. Poh has been a great company nevertheless. She's rather, i said rather, eccentric, but then again so am I. She's a good shopping kaki nevetheless, she should get to know Min. Besides, I need to butter her up, since I'm gonna be stuck with her for the next 2 years (actually it's the other way round, SHE'S gonna be stuck with me for the next 2 years!). I think staying with me has taken affect on her, I mean, she's starting to talk like me...Haha...I know I'm influencial. Okay, don't wanna praise her no more, she'll get perasan la.

Oh, tha's me and Poh, freezing our a** off while waiting for the bus, that took one hour to be here.....

Valentines not....

No, I still don't celebrate Valentines.... Actually, to be honest you don't get much of a feel of Valentine's here. As in, U don't see red and pink streamers, balloons, ribbons or heart shaped decorations everywhere you walk, you don't see special promotions from the restaurant and all, no many couples holding hands or gift shops specials and all. Okay, maybe there's a few gift shop, lingerie shop that are on offers, but seriously, other than that, it's quite dead.

Summer is almost coming to an end here, 2 or 3 more weeks before autumn comes. Well, i guess i better enjoy the sun while i can still have it. I am getting tanned, and i miss Malaysian food, and the broken english back home, miss adding malay into everything we say....Well, neways this blog is pointless.

Did i mentioned that Esprit and Roxy here is cheap? I saw a Roxy purse that's only 10AUD, converting it back, it'll be like 30 bucks for a Roxy purse. Esprit purses are only 20AUD, just let me know when you find a 60 ringgit Esprit purse in Malaysia k... Damn, and the bags here are nice too. Poh got a bag with only 18AUD, good quality too. I need to start earning my own cash before i start spending uneccessarily. God bless me!

Oh, there's this show called "The Big Bang Theory" it's a good show. A bit retarded as well (i am not suggesting that i am), House is on as well, I need to stop being in such a relax mood, classes are officially starting next week, i need to get my drive back on. Hopefully, I'll get to meet some nice people.

These are normal....

The everyday's to do list in Perth Australia,

  1. Get sun-tanned, regardless you want it or not
  2. Get harrassed by houseflies, maybe dessert flies or watever you call them here, cause they are so damn annoying!
  3. Walking really long distance, that's like exercise for me, not bad if the weather is not so hot!
  4. Meeting old folks and talking to them, cause that's the only thing you can do when u spend hours waiting for a good damn bus!
  5. Eating rabbit food, whether you wan it or not. Auntie fancies eating lotsa green, so well... I need to get use to this one.
  6. Stuffing a whole bread into a container, even though you know it won't fit, even though you know it won't look appetizing. But, that's what you have to do when you want to save some mullah!

Our pathetic lunch, but it taste quite good actually....honest, swear to God!

  7. Train your brain to do quick math, cause you will need to do some serious calculating when you see a very nice bag, or some very delicious food. Cause, roti canai don't cause 5 bucks in Malaysia!
  8. But at the same time, you need to have the ability to turn off the calculator in your head, cause if you try to convert everything, you will end up having sandwich everyday; apparently that's the cheapest thing i could find.
  9. Get used to mispronounciation in cantonese, cause that's what Rick does...Long story
  10. Get used to unexpected burst out laughter from my housemate Poh, actually i dun think i can get used to that...Is it something i said?

Well, at least we know what to expect in a day to day life in Australia....

Here's where I live, not too shabby I would say, I really don;t mind having a house like that in future.....

Leaving....

If nothing goes wrong, that is to say...This should be my last post in Malaysia. Because, i am leaving tomorrow, yup, tomorrow.

I dun know if i should be relieve or not, but i guess i'll know when i'm there. All these weeks of shopping and packing and repacking, and fretting over the weight issue (it's the bags, not me!) and my mum coming up with more things to add on the list, even i told her for the *n* time, that my bag IS already overweight. The things that she make me bring? Actually, no one in the right mind would think of that, only mums can think of such things... Pegs, sponges, rags, rubberbands (yup), actually she tried to make me bring washing powder there....Not sure if she going to add on. Sigh....

I wish i could tacka picture of my room, amidst all my packing, but i couldnt find my camera (explains everything!). So, too bad la. Well, hopefully all goes well, dun get lost, dun loose stuffs, dun get kidnap. I guess that's about it. Sigh...going overseas is such a pain....

Will let you guys know about my contact details once i'm settle, so be patient. That's bout it i guess. Gonna miss the food here...No more roti canai and teh tarik till i get back. *mumbles, mumbles* Gonna miss New Year's reunion dinner, buffet some more....sob!
