Lancelin is famous for its sandboarding attraction. Again, we left early the next morning cause the drive for the day is gonna be longer than Yanchep's.
As usual, you can plan everything but the weather, it was drizzling on our way there, Moore River was initially on our plan but after much consideration it pains me that I have to omit the river from our plan. But I swear I will get there one day!
On the way, we saw this lavender field which was seemingly endless...The view was so nice!!! It's like a sea that is lavender in colour!!!!
We have to travel to the sand dunes for the sandboarding but since the car is a sportscar but not a four wheel drive, we have to drag those oversized boards in there.
It was so quiet that day, cause it was only a Friday, it almost feel like we are the only ones there. But it was so windy!!! Sand kept flying everywhere...It was crazy the sand was a bit wet for sandboarding as well, what the hell, complete waste of money...But it was a different kind of experience.
The sandboarding was cut short when it started to rain again! So far, I was the only who manage to sandboard down successfully, the reason they gave me was because I was the smallest one in the group =________= Then after a short break, it was off to Nambung, the day was a little more layback than the day before since we found out that we have time to spare.
The lodging for the night was infact much nicer than the one from the previous one, after unwinding ourself and made lunch we had time to go to the beach before heading out to Nambung for the sunset in Pinnacles.
The beach was really fun although it was small as compared to other beaches I went to, after all we get to sea the Indian Ocean.
The water was blue, like azure blue, and then we noticed all these blue specs on the sand, at first i was thinking which fella dicided to dirty the beach, mana tau, taking a closer look all those blue specs turns out to be BLUE JELLY FISH! A bit creey though.....
Looks like there won't be another post after all since I managed to fit everything else into this one post. Wohoo! Liberty!
But this trip has been tiring, exhausting, dissapointing, fun, exciting. I suppose it was the whole package that came with it that made this whole trip worth while. I will continue to plan more trips but it won't be in the middle of the semester anymore, cause after this whole trip I started to feel nothing but homesick! I WANNA GO HOME!!!!
PS: There are more pics, but the others are in Facebook. So, have fun!

Trip (Yanchep) - Part 2
Oh, here's another post, a kind reminder it's still day 1 of the trip and that I am still in Yanchep National Park. the next on our agenda is Koala viewing, and for this I have to say I am a proud owner of my fantastic camera. The ZOOM is FANTASTIC!!!
Then, it's check-in time, our lodging turned out to be very worth for the money! Very reasonable, i think the name is Yanchep Holiday Homes. But by the time everyone starts unpacking, we were dead tired, almost to the point we refused to go out for dinner. But for some reason we managed to get our asses moving and the move proved to be worth it as well, you'll see why...
Just gonna show the room here, cause the whole apartment is to big to fit it into a whole picture, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
We DID wine and dine that night....That's not it...
This was the prawn risotto, should have ordered a bigger portion, the whole meal cost us about 123AUD, don't faint ya daddy! It was my only big splurge of food after 6 months being here. But there was more to the meal la, there's still half a dozen of oyster and a prawn salad that is omited from the picture....
Oh well, there was pretty much nothing else for us after that night, only that we played cho dai di after that, the next day's event is gonna be even more consuming, Lancelin and Cervantes aka Pinnalces 9nambung National Park). Next one is coming up!

Trip - Part 1
Being the procrastinator that I am, I have put off this entry until now. What can I say?! This trip had took place almost one month already, sheesh....
But anyways, since some of them were pre type, it was copy pasting and uploading the pics...
This trip being the first ever self-planned trip in Oz, being the greedy person that I am I tried to fit everything in a 3 days and 2 night trip, I will tell you the outcome of the trip soon :P
Essential things for self-planned trip, good advise (comes in the form of my homestay Aunty), a car (public transport is kinda annoying when u are in a hurry), cash (unfortunately everything comes with a price) and loads and loads of time for planning, callings and reservations and confirmations. The last but not least, good vacation buddies!
Everything was going according to plan and all of us were having sleepless night prior the trip. The date of the trip was a bit off, since we tried to sync to Uni's semester break together, which does not work cause UW was two week later than us, in the end, we planned it on their break, cause me and Poh only have 3 days of classes.
The trip comes very dangerously close to being canceled when we found out the day before the trip that we are not allowed to rent to car, us being 3 weeks short of being 21!!!!! Bloody Hell!!!! So pissed wei, I mean canceling the trip would have been a big dissapointment already some more I have to pay the accommodation and all for last minute cancelation, *curses with words too vulgar to be displayed*. Why the the fella not tell me about it, in my defence we have scanned a copy of our driving license to them already, they approved it! Then on the day we when to collect it, they don't let us take the car, apa ini!!! At least, let me know earlier right!!!!
In the end, instead of having a car that could fit 5 person and all the luggage and supplies comfortably, we have to take m friend's sportcar which is a tad bit too small and too uncomfy for a 6 hour drive. But what to do, beggars can't be choosers; it's either the too small car or canceling the trip.
I will never ever forget the cramp, but I am grateful for this car.
The first day of the trip was to make it to Yanchep National Park. Made a few wrong turns along the way, cause there were road construction. With the help of the map and TY we made it to Yanchep in one piece, in face a little too early cause the visitor centre was not open, our first agenda of the day, a hike of apporx. 10 km.
Beautiful view, but watch where u step, the grass is littered with duck poop EVERWHERE!!!!!!
All so "semangat" before the whole thing....mana tau half way...haih!
We were told to stay on trail and to make lots of noise, cause the snakes are active during this time and according to the lady at the Visitor's Centre, some of them are deadly (Oh, my mum is gonna freak when she reads this bit, but I'm back in one piece)
All went well, when it started to rain in the middle of the walk, getting lost was the last straw, cause after 2 hours of hike we were told that we were not even half way through the trail (we called back to the centre for directions), everyone voted to turn back.
Exhausted from the trail (plus wet and sweaty)but with time to spare before our cave trail (Yes, we did QUITE a bit of walking that day)we decided to pay a visit to a chocolate tea house *squeels in delight*
The cave was the higlight of the day, none of the pictures we took could justify the sight that we show, planning more cave trips from now on. Margeret River is next on my list, I heard they have better caves there! Can't wait!
Oh don't worry, my day did not end here...There's still more...just wait. I just thought there is too many things to fit in and this post is already quite long.

Waiting....
It's September, it's Spring according to the calender,
The weather is slowly changing, the climate getting warmer,
But Win is still stuck here doing her assignments,
Win is still waiting, waiting for that very moment...
It seems that all we do is wait, waiting for something,
Whether it's for recess, for the bus or train, the wait, never ending.
The sense of dread, the anticipation that is building,
Neither of them matters because Win is still waiting...
And what is she waiting for, one might ask?
A special someone, an answer or just some unfinished task?
Win would tell you it's neither,
And it's definitely not the weather...
She is waiting for the day,
That very day when she can play...
Sit back, relax and laugh out loud,
To enjoy the good company, that's what this is all about...
I'm waiting, counting down for it as the days draws closer,
I know, I shall divulge the answer, no good being such a teaser...
That day, the very day....
I'll go....
To Pinnacles.....
Hahaha, got'cha did I?

Forget me, not.
To those who knew and to those who do not know. There's 3 kinds of flowers that I treasure most. The first, the bluish forget-me-nots. Reason? They are blue, of course. Most people who knew would give me a sceptical stare as to why do I choose such flower as my favourite.
You see, due to the matter of its size, forget-me-nots will not be the center of attraction like the rose. It's so tiny that most people might have over look them at first glance, but I suppose I like it for that reason. Alas, I did not manage to spot any of them in Araluen, was a tad bit dissapointed by that fact, but I suppose there are other aspects that makes up for that.
The next flower that I have in mind is none other than tulips. The flower that is most beautiful before it blooms, even when it is blooming at its fullest with it's vibrant colour, it just emits a soft, tender feeling for those who look at it. Elegantly flowing with the breeze, softly, gently...
The third flower on my list is none other than the yellow daisies, well to be honest I like white lillies too, particularly the Madonna Lily. Yellow daisies, when flowering in a bunch gives out so much of colour and energy that it sort of gives you the energy of life. Yellow daisies are just like a burst of energy, bringing hope, joy and laughter, no?
Well, the other flower that I like is none other than snow drops. Small, white, humble and pure, yet simply beautiful...
Fields of daffodils...So nice~
One might ask, why all the simple flowers, not those big and conventional ones. Perhaps, it reminds me of life, and how we overlooked simple day to day things just because we took them for granted. After all, flowers no matter how small and simple, their existence still means something to those who notice and treasure them, don't you think so?
Pic of the day:
To 2 of the best traveling buddies I have, cheers!
*note: I would have posted up more pictures if Blogger worked right, but noooo it kept on dying on me...So, the rest of the pic will have to wait till next post.
