Watched "Enchanted" with my brothers a few weeks ago, i can seriously say that it was the kind of show that would ut me to sleep, if it not for the chipmunk. Honestly, there's nothing much enchanting about this movie. I mean roaches cleaning the bathtub, mice and rats scrubbing the toilet bow and pidgeons cleaning the dishes, those are just so gross and disgusting. I mean hasnt she heard of black death, H5N1 and don't she find croakcroaches disgusting, i mean they can fly...ewww.....
Note: If you havent watched the movie, dun read, spoiler ahead, dun say that i did not warn you.....
And i wonder is it me or something, i notice the animated girls from Disney are getting thinner and thinner. The girl in the movie could have been diagnose with anorexia in the real world. And then there's the singing, the dancing and the slashing and the arguing, she is actually happy that she is angry! What the ~ ! I guess the only part that kind of caught me off was the fact the damsel is not in distress and she rescue her "so-called-prince-charming". Still it's a pretty lame show overall. But, if Disney is to come out with a new fairy tale they better come up with something better, this kind of fairy tale is not working for me, and i don't think it's working for the kids too, you have to sweeten things up for the kids, where's the fairies and pixies! This story is a little too twisted for the kids, the kids need innocent story simple and straight to the point, one man and one woman is enough. Oh, one more thing, i hope they have a smarter prince next time!
But "Game plan" was quite good. Dun think i want to elaborate it here, but it's a good show, love the little girl though. Now, all i need is to watch Golden Compass (juz coz Nicole is in it.) and the National Treasure cause it looks good. I so need a good comedy now, feel like watching "Benchwarmers" again. Well, till then....
